The Coaster is the world's default 26–29 seat minibus — school runs in Dar es Salaam, hotel shuttles in Dubai, mine crews in Zambia, church fleets in PNG all run on it. Japanese-market units come with verified mileage and maintenance culture that grey-market alternatives cannot match. The B70 generation (2017–) brings the N04C diesel; the earlier B50/B60 with the 1HZ is the Africa favorite for its mechanical simplicity.

What to check at auction
Check body corrosion around window frames and the rear engine access panel. Verify seat count matches the export paperwork (seat capacity drives duty in several countries). Ex-kindergarten buses have child-seat layouts that need conversion — factor the cost. Service records matter more on buses than on any passenger car.
